The 5K & 10K courses are flat and fast jaunts through the beautiful neighborhoods surrounding Osborn Aquatic Center in Northwest Corvallis. Runners, walkers, kids in strollers and dogs on leashes are all welcome. All ages welcome too! This fundraiser is a great way to support the Corvallis Parks and Recreation Family Assistance Fund, which gives low income families and individuals access to programs such as swimming lessons, therapy classes and more. Corvallis Annual Christmas Parade – Nov. 24, 7pm – 10pm

So many memories taking my boys to this parade every year. Great family tradition. There will be music, floats, hot chocolate and more! The parade will travel north on Fourth Street from Washington Ave. to Jackson Ave. Corvallis, OR 97330. A celebration of songs and lights will follow the parade at the Benton County Courthouse!

Christmas Storybook Land welcomes people of all ages to enjoy its FREE 42nd year presentation! November 30, 2018 to December 14, 2018.
See an enormous indoor Christmas forest wonderland with over 110 scenes of characters from Mother Goose rhymes, children’s fairy tales and family movies, two elaborate model train displays, a Victorian Village and the North Pole with Santa & Mrs. Claus. A canned food donation is gladly accepted or a new toy for the Marine Toys for Tots bin.

Christmas in the Garden is a charming European-inspired event featuring 1 million lights, ice skating, snowless tubing, live music, photos with Santa, fire pits, a large vendor market, and more! Please visit our website for nightly details and activities! Admission gates open at 5:00 pm and close at 8:00 pm each night of the event. All attractions including the lights, snowless tubing, skating rink, Biergarten, and the market close at 9:00 pm.
Children 10 and under are free and do not require an admission ticket. There are no refunds for purchased tickets and the tickets are only valid for 1 entry for the date on the ticket.
PRESALES END AT NOON EACH DAY FOR THAT NIGHT’S EVENT. After 12:00 pm, if the event is not sold out, tickets will be available at the door. We recommend purchasing admission tickets in advance because this event can sell out!
28th Annual Federweisser Festival And Barn Dance – Nov, 23rd – 25th

This looks like a great time. I am grabbing my husband and looking forward to a festive time.
Join our family for the 28th annual Federweisser German Fall Festival and Barn Dance! Come try our delicious cider-like still-fermenting Willamette Valley reisling along side our infamous Zwiebelkuchen onion, egg, bacon and swiss cheese pie.
Albany’s own fine meat and sausage producer Pepper Tree Sausage House will also be serving various bavarian style hot dogs and sausages with grilled onions and sourkraut.
The hours are Friday, the 23rd, from 12-5pm. Saturday, the 24th, from 12pm to 11pm, the day of the barn dance. And the 25th from 12-5pm.
Local Rock Band Shatterproof will be performing for Saturday night’s venue and barn dance (Nov. 24th) starting around 6:30-7:00 pm. And of course, as always, this event has no tickets, and is FREE ENTRY.

It wouldn’t be the holidays in Portland without a visit to ZooLights, the Oregon Zoo’s annual winter festival. As you walk around the zoo, you’ll see a dazzling display of more than million and a half lights, and experience your zoo in a whole new light.
In addition to visiting elephants, penguins and other animals, you can ride the popular lighted train and enjoy dinner from a variety of food carts. Little ones may want to ride the carousel, and Santa will be available at the events through December 23 for photos.
ZooLights runs from November 21, 2018 to January 5, 2019, though it will be closed November 22 and December 24-25 for the holidays, and November 27-28 for BrewLights.

Come and join us for this year’s Grand Tree Lighting at the Oregon State Capitol. We are celebrating with the theme “Find Your Trail” to honor the 175th anniversary of the Oregon Trail, the 50th anniversary of the national trails system, and this year’s National Christmas Tree theme (because the Washington DC tree is coming from the Willamette National Forest and following the reverse Oregon Trail to get back to the nation’s capital!)
We start the night at 5 p.m. with a half hour choir performance from South Salem High School, followed by the tree lighting program at 5:30 p.m. Close to 6 p.m. the tree is lit, followed by free refreshments in the Galleria and free photos with Santa (courtesy of Best Buy.)
